Reading machine learning benchmark data sets from different sources in their original format The data are not part of the package. The package requires to receive a path to a local copy of the data and their description, which consists of an XML file "contents.xml" and R scripts. Each data set is read into R as a data frame using its own R script. An example of the description directory for some of the data sets from UCI Machine Learning Repository is available at "http://www.cs.cas.cz/~savicky/readMLData".
